PEMODELAN JALUR KHUSUS BUS TRANS JOGJA PADA KAWASAN MALIOBORO DENGAN KONSEP GIRATORI
Abstract
The Malioboro area, located in the center of Yogyakarta City, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia, which can cause problems such as overcrowding the traffic volume in the area. The DIY government's plan to control the density of the Malioboro Region is to change the area to semi-pedestrian with the concept of gyratory. Changes in traffic management make it easier for public vehicles such as the Trans Jogja Bus to operate in the Malioboro Region. This study aims to model the Trans Jogja Bus special lane in the Malioboro area which covers the PKU Intersection, 0 Km Intersection, Gondomanan Intersection, Melia Purosani Hotel Intersection, Abu Bakar Ali Intersection, Kleringan Intersection, Pasar Kembang Intersection which has been transformed into a gyratory area and can recommend that private vehicle users can switch to using the Trans Jogja Bus when going to the Malioboro area. The method used in this study is modeling using VISSIM software after data collection results from survey location studies such as traffic volume, road geometric, vehicle speed, cycle time and Trans Jogja Bus routes were collected. The average results from the modeling show an increase in LOS (Level of Service) at a number of intersections after the change in the area to semi-pedestrian with the concept of gyratory and the addition of Trans Jogja Bus special lanes, such as at Melia Purosani Hotel Intersection with LOS_D and average delay value is 37 seconds changes to LOS_B and the average delay value is 17 seconds. So that it can be a recommendation for changes in the region.
