PENILAIAN KEANDALAN SISTEM PROTEKSI KEBAKARAN PADA BANGUNAN GEDUNG PERKULIAHAN
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore and to assess the settlings and the
completeness of fire protection system facilities at the E6 and E7 lecture buildings of
Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, whether they are in accordance with the
relevant regulations or not. Fire is a disaster that causes moral and material loss which
happens because of an uncontrollable flame. The causes of building fires that often occur
in Indonesia are short circuits of electronic devices, electrical short circuits and even human
negligence. Fire protection systems in buildings are one of the efforts to minimize the
occurrence of large fires and to minimize the losses obtained. This study used the reference
PD-T-11-2005-C with an observation analysis method in the field. The results of the study
showed that the reliability value of the building safety systems of buildings E6 and E7 was
85.65%. This value indicates that the completeness and settlings of protection system
infrastructure facilities in Building E6 and E7 of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University
are good and in accordance with the regulations.
