PENGARUH KELAYAKAN BALIHO TERHADAP KESELAMATAN PENGGUNA JALAN DI YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Billboards come from Arabic, which means to convey. As for what is
conveyed is an implied message, promotion, advertisement or telling something
that is known by the general public. The size of a large billboard is made so that
road users can clearly see the information or messages conveyed through
billboards. The purpose of this study is to identify the construction of billboards
that have the potential to cause disasters for existing road users in every road on
North Ringroad Road in Yogyakarta by dividing the 5 points of the research
location.
The type of research that will be used is observational qualitative
research, namely research by looking directly at the research conditions in the
field in accordance with the regulations set by the local party. In the results of the
study found the percentage of billboards for small sizes of small billboards of
14.56% medium size billboards of 45.63% and large billboards of 38.83%, while
billboards that are not included in the regulations are 0.97%. The percentage
value for billboards with a distance of less than 1.5 meters is 98.05% and
billboards with a distance of more than 1.5 meters are 1.94%. Based on the
results of identification of billboards, the value of the billboards is folded, which
has the potential to cause accidents as follows, the percentage value for the
condition of the billboards is not as good as 23.03%, the condition is 3.88%, good
condition 56.31%, and very good condition 16, 50%. From the research
conducted, it can be concluded that the condition of the billboards along the
North Ringroad Road is quite good but periodic billboards are still needed.
