Lack of awareness of the workers to use personal protective equipment so that caused a higher risks of Work Accident on Construction of Dental Nursing Building Poltekes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to analyze Work Accident Risk Potential on Construction of Dental Nursing Building Poltekes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. The type research used is qualitative. These data were obtained from interview form risk observation work accident hazard. And it is known that in the construction of Dental Nursing building Poltekes Kemenkes Yogyakarta have 34 activities from 11 jobs with 92 incident. The types of work accident namely workers breathe pollution dust during preparation, having eye irritation due to exposure of sand, workers fall into the excavation hole, overwritten excavated material, exposed to manual equipment when excavate, accident caused dumptruck rolled, hit by a dumptruck car, exposed to manual work equipment when making formwork, accident of a mixer truck, hit by a molen concrete vehicle, exposed to a vibrator during compaktion of concrete mixtures, exposed to radiation due to mixing of chemicals in the concrete, reinforce iron. The overall risk of work accident risks in the Dental Nursing building concstruction project Poltekes has a scale of 6,021 which is included in the “Medium Risk” category with the smallest hazard risk scale at 4,087 scale preparatory work and the greatest hazard risk on scale lifts and elevator walls with scale 7,16.
