ANALISIS ETIKA PELAYANAN BANKIR PERSPEKTIF PROFETIK
Abstract
This study discusses the ethical judgment of bankers‟ service in a
prophetic perspective in two BPRS, namely BPRS Madina and BPRS BDW. This
study assesses the influence materially and immaterially of service ethics of
bankers‟ prophetic perspective in banking. The purpose of this study is to describe
the organizational performance between BPRS Madina and BPRS BDW in
carrying out service ethics of bankers‟ prophetic perspective. The prophetic
meaning is to take on the thought of Kuntowijoyo, it has 3 variables: Amar Ma'ruf
(humanization), nahi munkar (liberation) and Tu'minuna Billah (transcendence).
And this research using a descriptive qualitative approach.
In principle, BPRS has two reasons to carry out service ethics of bankers‟
prophetic perspective. The BPRS carries out the Islamic Sharia required by Allah,
which is then exemplified by Rasulullah and BPRS, especially the bankers,
carrying out their idol‟s character, which is Rasulullah. In terms of profit, several
points were achieved by the BPRS, i.e. customer satisfaction originating from all
aspects of the BPRS service, customer convenience obtained from services carried
out with sincerity, and flexibility and heart-to-heart with the aim that customers
are comfortable in saving in BPRS. Meanwhile, the customer‟s loyalty is
indicated by the period of time the customer saves in the BPRS and the
characteristics that are different from other BPRS i.e. the attitude and behavior
shown by the BPRS to the customer will certainly be embedded in the customer‟s
heart and will consider that the BPRS has different characteristics from other
BPRS. More important is the way to implement prophetic values on the ethical
practices of banker services in BPRS with several methods, namely the
application in BPRS which is most effective in giving examples of stakeholders
who are role models for other employees, writing the promises of employment or
memorandum of understanding (MOU) before employees work at the BPRS.
