PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM TAHFIDZ Al-QUR’AN DI SDIT Al-KHAIRAAT YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This research aims to know : (1) the implementation of Tahfidz program (A program for memorizing Al-Qur’an, (2) the obstacles in implementing Tahfidz program, (3) strategies to overcome the obstacles in implementing Tahfidz program at SDIT (integrated Islamic elementary school) Al-Khairaat Yogyakarta.
This research is a descriptive qualitative research. There were three people participating as the participants of the research. The data of the research were collected using observation, interview, and documentations. The data analysis technique was done in three stages namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.
The findings of the research reveal that : (1) the implementation of Tahfidz program is included in general school schedule conducted four times in one week, Monday to Thursday. The implementation of the program lasts for 1 hour/ 60 minutes. Each teacher handles 10-15 students in one group. The method used in BTHQ is the ummi method volumes 1-6. In addition, the program also includes memorizing 30 juz using tahsin then muroja'ah continued with memorization. (2) the obstacles faced in the implementation of Tahfidz program at SDIT Al-Klairaat Yogyakarta are lack of collaboration between parents and students. In addition, some teachers often leave the class for some reasons, so the time used for implementing the Tahfidz Al-Quran program is less effective causing many students miss their memorization compared to other groups. When combined with other groups, the time spent to memorize is insufficient. (3) ways to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program at SDIT Al-Khairaat Yogyakarta are done by cooperating with homeroom teachers and parents. When there is a teacher who cannot teach, it is better for them to give clear reasons to the chief coordinator of Tahfidz program. When the teacher resigns, the chief coordinator should look for a new Tahfidz teacher. In addition, outside of learning hours, the teachers should ask students to complete their memorization or report their memorization. Thus, they will not be left behind by other groups.
