STRATEGI LEMBAGA KEUANGAN SYARIAH DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN KEUNGGULAN BERSAING PRODUK TABUNGAN HAJI DAN UMROH
Abstract
The research aimed at finding out the strategy of sharia finance institution in maintaining the competitiveness of haji and umrah saving product. The data collection conducted was by making interview with PT. BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera Yogyakarta and KSPS BMT Bina Ihsanul Fikri Yogyakarta. The method used in this research was the qualitative one with comparative characteristic. The data collection was also carried out with documentation and observation towards the research objects. The research used data reduction analysis technique or data summarizing, then data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that regarding haji and umrah, BPRS Madina Mandiri Sejahtera and BMT BIF both tend to develop umrah product because it does not take long process in the implementation. To manage the haji fund, The Ministry of Religion has appointed Sharia Commercial Bank that can access Haji Integrated Computerized Systems (SISKOHAT) for doing the registration and getting the haji quota.
