Background: Nowadays, kids tend to get first menstruation at a younger age. The average age of menarche is aged 9-15 years. In Islam it is called baligh period and kids have been obliged to run religious orders. and Menstruation is one of dirty that hinder women to conducting their worship. Cleans the place passed by blood can prevent the growth of bacteria that could cause infection, then after finishing menstruation required to do oblution with ghusl bath. Islamic education can provide new information in order to increase knowledge child who have experienced menstruation in entering puberty. Purpose: This research aims to understand the influence of Islamic education on the level of knowledge of menstruation in the students of Public Elementery School 1 Padokan Bantul Yogyakarta. Method: The research is quasy experiment pre-post test with control group design. The sample it consists of 48 schoolgirl already suffering menstrual determined to technique of total sampling. Measuring instrument in this research using a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used was wilcoxon with p = 0,05 value. Result: There is an effect of Islamic education toward level of knowledge about menstruation seen from increasing mean value pre-test 16,22 and post-test 18,13 with median value pre-test 16 and post-test 18. The results of statistical tests obtained value p= 0,005 (p 0.05). Conclution: There is an effect of Islamic education toward menstruation level of knowledge of student Public Elementary School in Kaihan Bantul Yogyakarta
