dc.descriptionThe main purpose of this research is to analyse the advocacy done by the #MeToo movement in dealing with sexual in the United States. #MeToo movement, which was founded in 2006, risen after social media post and went viral as the outcome of the efforts from the usages of the hashtag to expose the sexual crimes done by influential figures from the film industry. This reseach was done by descriptive method and using secondary data. The theoretical framework used to answer the research question was Transnational Advocacy Network (TAN) by Margaret E. Keck and Kathryn Sikkink whis has four tactical typologies. With the theoretical framework used, therefore #MeToo movement carried out advocacy moves by spreading informations, using symbols, ilvolving influential actors, and encouraging the emergence of new policies by stateen_US
