This study is expected to contribute to teachers and students in managing learning, as well as material input for learning evaluation.
This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods where the data is processed with quantitative correlations. The subjects in this study are 2nd year students of the Japanese Language Education 2018/2019 Academic Year with a total 0f 45 students. Therefore, the statistic data analysis in this study used the product moment formula to find out the correlation between the learners' perceptions of Japanese native teachers and the learning outcomes.
The result of questionnaire data analysis and learning outcomes showed positive result. Furthemore the results of product moment correlation analysis shows that the correlation coefficient r count = -0.0213 < r table = 0.294 at a significance level of 5%. This proves that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected where there is no correlation between the perceptions of students and the learning outcomes of Shochukyu Kaiwa
