beverages) mixed with dangerous ingredients is busy being discussed. One dangerous
ingredient that is often used is methanol or known to the public as spirits which can
cause blindness. From 2009-2013 there were 38 cases of blindness due to booze
liquor. RSUP Dr. Sarjito handles an average of 10 blind cases due to liquor in a

beverages. Death and disability can be caused by various factors such as delays
being brought to the hospital and less effective and efficient treatment by a doctor in
the hospital.

Emergency Unit doctor of PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta and the
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the hospital.
