ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK PARKIR TERHADAP PENERAPAN JALUR SEPEDA DI KAMPUS UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Parking is a condition where the vehicle does not move for a certain period of time and is not temporary. Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta is one of the regions with increasing student numbers as a result, parking lots are increasingly being filled and the increasing number of private vehicles each year can cause problems in the parking space of private vehicles in the area. The method used in this study is the method of observation and analysis of parking characteristics. The results of the parking characteristics analysis before the implementation of the bicycle lane obtained the accumulation of 1002 and 90 motorcycles, motorcycle parking index of 66.80% and 100% cars, parking volume of 2495 motorcycles and 168 cars, turn over motorcycles of 1.98 and 1.85 cars. Then sampling is done to find out how many percent of respondents want to move from private vehicles to bicycles. At the time of sampling around 89% of private vehicle users wanted to move using campus bicycles and 11% of respondents did not want to move. Then the parking characteristics were analyzed after the sampling obtained a decrease in accumulation, volume, parking index and turn over after the implementation of the bicycle lane, because of the decrease in the value of the characteristics of motor accumulation values 120.24 and Cars 15.3, 8% motorcycle parking index and cars 17%, motorbike parking volume 229.64 and cars 28.56, turn over motorcycles 0.18 and cars 0.31.
