MENINGKATKAN KETERTARIKAN BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN MENGGUNAKAN MOBILE LEARNING
Abstract
Civic Education is one of the mandatory lessons. Every student in Indonesia always studies this material from elementary schools to college school. Civic Education has a goal so that students acknowledge Indonesia and developing a sense of love for the motherland. However the content and learning model are almost alike, so can be expected that the higher the student level of education, then the student becomes to find it unattractive. So, Civic Education requires innovation to be more interesting and make students eager to learn it, especially for high school students. In the contents of Civic Education materials, there is much subject matter taken from daily life practices in the family, school, and community. These matters can be more interesting if it is presented using multimedia that can be run on a smartphone. The innovation that applying smartphones is very appropriate because in general, students are accustomed to using this kit. In this research, an application based on an Android was developed to offer an interactive civic education subject. Besides taking material that is often found in everyday life but can provide memorable lessons for students. This study emerged a debate about the value of morale in society. Many students seem to be more active in expressing their opinions and of course proving that this learning innovation is more interesting and able to have a positive impact on students.
