Aeromedolling comes from two words which are aero means air and model means simulation. Aeromodelling is an activity used model which can fly on the sky. Free flight is a fork of aeromodelling which most interest and it was competed in Indonesia. One of type free flight airplane is Glider Tank F1A (A2). Time controller in Glider A2 airplane Initially using axis, more and more in developing of technology which in the past used manual timer and now changed into an automatic timer. The aim of making an automatic timer in Glider A2 airplane is to make easier for an athlete of aeromodelling especially tank Glider A2 airplane. The design of an automatic timer used arduino nano which programmed using arduino IDE software. From the result trial of design automatic timer aeromodelling Glider A2 airplane base arduino nano can work on maximal scale and the outcome time from an automatic timer more accurate from manual timer, so an automatic timer was more effectiv.
