STRATEGI NAHDLATUL WATHAN DALAM MEMENANGKAN H. NAJMUL AKHYAR PADA PEMILIHAN UMUM KEPALA DAERAH DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK UTARA TAHUN 2015
Abstract
NW involvement in supporting its cadres is openly carried out even in the formulation of strategies during elections. This was also done at the 2015 Kabupaten Lombok Utara elections. NW openly supported its chairman Najmul Akhyar who was the best NW cadre, his victory certainly was inseparable from Nahdlatul Wathan's strategies in gaining votes which reached 68,326, his victory in almost all Districts namely Winner , Tanjung, Ganga, and Kayangan. So in this paper focus on the strategy of Nahdaltul Wathan in Winning Najmul Akhyar in North Lombok Regency Election in 2015.
The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research to describe NW activities in North Lombok Regency elections in 2015. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation.
Based on the results of this study Nadlatul Wathan's strategy; first, the NW built a political image of Najmul akhyar as a religious and religious figure. The NW also strengthens the NW bases as a source to obtain votes and participates in determining the voter target. This is in accordance with the questionnaire results that 100% of the NW participate in determining the voter target. Second, utilizing the potential of organizations from the District level to the branch children and autonomous organizations in disseminating Najmul Akhyar besides, based on the results of questionnaires that 100% of respondents answered the NW congregation's priority in providing support for Najmul Akhyar.
Besides that, the high level of loyalty of NW worshipers to their leaders was the main reason to support Najmul Akhyar as the best NW cadre in North Lombok Regency elections in 2015. Third, religious media and routine activities such as pengajian, hiziban, dzikiran, etc. were used as means to campaign and communication with the community in general. Besides strengthening the internal organization as a political strategy, the NW also builds relationships in external organizations such as clerics, master teachers, influential scholars in the community. The distribution of campaign attributes was actively carried out by the NW winning team. It was known from the questionnaire that 100% of NW winning teams actively spread campaign attributes.
