UJI EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK DAUN BINTARO (Cerbera menghas) SEBAGAI PESTISIDA ORGANIK UNTUK PENGENDALIAN ULAT GRAYAK (Spodoptera litura L.) PADA TANAMAN KEDELAI
Abstract
Army worm is a parasite that can do a more spoil to soubean leaves more
than any other parasite. Army worm is a very dangerous parasite in a soybean
farm, because it attacks in various growth level and can cause damage up to 80%
of population. One of many plant that can be a potential for pesticides is bintaro
plants. The purpose of this study is to gain an ekstract of bintaro plants leaves for
pesticides that can be effective against army worm in soybean and to know the
effect of it to soybean growth. This study held in Laboratorium plants Proteksi
and Green House of Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta in march 2018 until
may 2018. This study methods using single factor field experiments arranged in
complete randomized design. The treatments tested were organic pesticides of
young bintaro plants leaves and the old ones, which each of it uses concentracions
100 g/l, 200 g/l, 300 g/l and plant without pesticides and plant with synthetic
pesticides for comparison. The result of this study that extract of bintaro plants
leaves with concentracion of 300 g/l are efective for organic pesticides against
army worm based on mortality and efficacy that is equivalent to synthetic
pesticides in soybean plants. Extracts of young leaves and old leaves of bintaro
influence the growth of soybean plants.
