This thesis aims to find out how the Appraisal Framework was built in Jokowi's speech at an international forum. In addition, dismantling Jokowi's speech ideology is also a priority to know. This study uses Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysisr afmework, with descriptiv-e interpretative methods. The author uses the Appraisal tools as a data analysis knife. As for the interpretation of ideology, athuethor uses the theory of Martin (1992). The results of this study indicate that Jokowi in his speech used all Appraisal tools, namely the Attitude, Engagement and Graduation sub systems. Continuity the ideas of the World Maritime Fulcrum Jokowi appear in the clauses of the speech. In his speech, there were 3 groups of statements that showed c othnetinuity of Jokowi's thought. First, declaration as a world maritime fulcrum. Second, maritime collaboration. Third, efforts to reduces maritime conflict. Whereas in the context of ideology, the author concludes that the R-Aignhtat gonist is the ideology that Prseident Jokow bi uilt.
