PENANGANAN KASUS KDRT DI YOGYAKARTA (Studi Pada Kasus KDRT di Biro Nuurus Sakiinah DIY) Masa Periode 2015-2020
Abstract
Actually refers to subordinate position of women because the relation of the two reflects the powerless and the powerful. In other words, there is a power inequality between women and men. Domestic violence is one of various forms of violent crime that has been identified in international society. Nasyi’atul ‘Aisyiyah and ‘Aisyiyah are institutions active in handling problems of women especially in domestic violence case. Both institutions have a bureau called Family Consultancy Bureau of Nuurus Sakiinah as helping center of counselling and treatment of domestic violence cases.
The points of this study are how Biro Nuurus Sakiinah of DIY treat domestic violence cases in Yogyakarta and what are the weaknesses and strengths of the teratment of the cases that has been done. This research was qualitative in nature by using the methods of interview and secondary data like documentation. Meanwhile, the data collecting techniques were interview and documentation.
This research finds that there are four kinds of domestic violence cases that have been treated by Family Consultancy Bureau of Nuurus Sakiinnah. They are psychology, economy abandonment, physical and verbal. The treatments given are different based on the problems of the cases. Psychological domestic violence is treated with counselling and self- reinforcement while economy abandonment is with counselling and economy independence training. Physical and verbal domestic violences are treated with counselling and self- reinforcement to face the future life and are given with therapy if necessary. The weaknesses are that they have not had a shelter, have difficulties in mediation, and have not had counselling data equipment to support Family Consultancy Bureau of Nuurus Sakiinah. Meanwhile, the strength is making the victims that succeeded the treatment process become volunteers to help the other victims, giving guidance spiritual counselling to legal law and advanced therapy when the victims still need it.
