dc.descriptionThis study aims to examine the effect of working discipline and compensation on employee performance and organizational commitment as a intervening variable (the study case studies of Indonesian motorcycle taxi drivers in the Yogyakarta) respondents in this study were 125 drivers who worked at PT.GOJEK Indonesia in Yogyakarta Special Region in 2018. The analysis technique used in this study is the structural equation modeling with the help of the AMOS version 22.0 program as an analytical tool. This study concludes as follows: 1) the work discipline has a positive and not significant effect on organizational commitment 2) compensation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment 3) organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 4) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance 5) compensation does not affect employee performance.
