TINGKAT KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA DAN ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN HOSPITAL DISASTER PLAN DI RSUD KOTA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Introduction: Hospital is a public facility that has an obligation to continue to operate fully even when disaster occurs. In any disaster situation that results in a surge in patients, hospitals are expected to provide health services for existing victims.
Methods: This study used a mixed method. We combine qualitative methods using in-depth interviews, and quantitative methods using questionnaires and hospital safety index scoring. The sample was taken by purposive sampling on the management of hospitals incorporated in the disaster management organization structure.
Result and Discussion: The monitoring results showed a hospital safety score of 62.5%. The results of the knowledge questionnaire showed a percentage of 77%, meaning that staff
knowledge of disasters was excellent.
Conclusion: RSUD Kota Yogyakarta has a Hospital Safety Index of 62.5% with the meaning that the hospital is still in category B. This means that the hospital still has risks when a
disaster occurs to maximize. The HOSDIP policy has been completed but has not been evaluated every year.
