ANALISIS HUBUNGAN SHARIA FAMILY BUSINESS DENGAN PROFESIONALISME DAN KEKOHESIFAN TIM (STUDI PADA PAMELLA SUPERMARKET YOGYAKARTA)
Abstract
This research aims at finding out the correlation between family business with professionalism and cohesiveness of the Pamella Supermarket employee. This research was qualitative with associative analysis approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, conducted by interviewing the informants, involving the owner and the assistant general manager of the Pamella Supermarket. Documentation which included the biography book of the Pamella owner, pictures and interview recordings, as well as library study was also conducted. The data validity used in this research was triangulation technique which was conducted by interviewing the employee who don’t have any family relationship. The research result shows that the professionalism in Pamella Supermarket is quite high. Pamella has performed company succession based on the competences owned by the successors. The financial statements have been audited by professionals. However, Pamella needs to highlight upon the Human Resource Development division since it has not been managed by professionals who have relevant disciplines. Next, the team’s cohesiveness in Pamella is high. It is indicated by the fact that the employee have helped each other during work and they have been always ready to support the company against external threats. Moreover, the company has held annual recreation and pengajian (communal Islamic study). Rewards and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) incentive have also been given as one of the strategies for improving the cohesiveness.
