      Abstract
Fiber concrete is a normal concrete that is specially developed by adding fiber to the concrete mixture. The addition of fiber aims to prevent the occurrence of cracks due to loading, and improve the mechanical properties of the concrete, so that the concrete is resistant to compressive forces, tensile forces and flexural forces caused by weather, climate and temperature factors that usually occur in concrete that has a wide surface. This study uses banana tree fiber which is a natural fiber obtained from the banana tree trunk. banana tree fiber is easy to find and has economic value. This study aims to analyze the compressive strength of fiber concrete with added ingredients of banana tree fibers with the percentage of 0%, 0.8%, 1.6%, and 2.4% of the amount of cement. Whereas to improve the workability and compressive strength in the fiber concrete mixture a sikament-nn superplasticizer was used with a percentage of 1.5% by amount of water and silica fume with a percentage of 5% by amount of cement. Compressive strength test is performed at the age of 1, 3, 7, and 28 days. Based on the test results, the maximum compressive strength of fiber concrete was obtained in specimens with a variation of banana tree fiber 2.4% with compressive strength is 26,59 MPa and the maximum compressive strength value of concrete without fiber or normal concrete used as a reference or comparison of 28,60 MPa
