KEBAHAGIAAN MENURUT HAMKA DALAM TAFSIR AL AZHAR PERSPEKTIF PSIKOLOGI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
Abstract
Happiness is the main need of humans in living life. Everyone does various ways to get happiness. Hamka in the Tafsir of Al-Azhar and his books explain happiness. This research uses descriptive analysis approach method by analyzing happiness verses in Al-Azhar Interpretation as well as Hamka books to find a formula of happiness. The study was also conducted on several Eastern and Western literature to enrich the findings of happiness research in the psychology perspective of Islamic education.
Found a model of happiness as explained by Martin Seligman that happiness is the meaning of life. Happiness is not only material and social problem but more deeply is about the existence of the self in living a more meaningful life. Ki Ageng Suryomentaraman also explained that happiness is a real act of self to control happiness in his life. Happiness is created, not awaited as a condition that comes to oneself. Al Ghazali explained that happiness is an atmosphere of feeling that results from a sensory arrest of objects around it so that each of the senses has their own happiness. The nature of happiness changes with the level of understanding someone because of knowledge of the material and the conditions that are being experienced.
The conclusion of research studies is that there is a level of happiness in a person. Starting from birth happiness, inner happiness, and ultimate happiness. The concept of Hamka's happiness contributes to the Islamic Education Psychology in the form of a structured concept of levels of happiness through the process of Islamic education in realizing the main and happiest man. The concept of Hamka's happiness has psychological, social, spiritual, and spiritual parts that are in accordance with the main needs of humans. A concrete pattern that can be a reference for the study of happiness that continues to experience changes in research in the future.
