ANALISIS PERKEMBANGAN KEBERBAKATAN SISWA DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH NEGERI KABUPATEN WONOGIRI
Abstract
The term gifted is described by Plato as the Men of gold or "human gold", that is, those who have the intellectual level superior, which is then translated from the English word that is gifted, which is another term giftedness, gifted, talented, creative, insightful, genius and precocious. So that the meaning is the talented people who have a high level of intelligence, judging from the scores obtained from intelligence tests. The purpose of this study to (a) determine the condition of gifted students in MTsN Wonogiri, (b) know the various models of teaching and learning in MTsN level in Wonogiri, and (c) to analyze the development of giftedness in MTsN Wonogiri
This research is a field that is designed to determine the development of giftedness students MTsN Wonogiri, Central Java. The draft research used qualitative analysis of its multidisciplinary approach. This study is in addition to describing the ethnographic school studied in the research sites, while trying to unpack and understand the idea or ideas hidden the development of giftedness students in the school.
Discussion of this study were (1) MTsN Wonogiri is the Institute of Islamic Education under the Ministry of Religious Wonogiri are watching developments giftedness students, through the initial selection of school, learning, evaluation, extracurricular and stakeholders, (2) students at MTs as teenagers who are in a transitional period (biological transition, cognitive transition, and social transition), as three rings conception, and various learning models gifted students by modifying the method and various learning models based on their interests, creativity, and skills of students and evaluation, and students talented in MTsN Wonogiri has proven intellectual number 59 students had an average of 80, (3) analysis of the development of giftedness students in the form of characteristics, namely the ability of the average; general abilities, special abilities, commitment to the task. And identification of gifted students, there are two steps that the screening; nominations teacher, nominated parent, nominated peers, academic achievement, portfolio, performance, observation, reviewing student records, test group and the assessment.
