ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL TWITTER DALAM TRANSPORTASI PUBLIK: BRT JAKARTA DAN BRT SEMARANG

Social media as a communication tool has a large role in public services, with a very vital role many public service institutions use social media as a media service and information platform. The rapid development of technology is changing the way humans view more modern and efficient services. Services that use social media facilitate public transportation services, BRT Semarang and BRT Jakarta are examples of public transportation modes whose activities are shared with social media (Twitter) and developed to support community mobility. The research method used in this study uses software-based qualitative methods, qualitative research is research that aims to explain the circumstances that exist in the field, this study uses a qualitative approach, qualitative research aims to answer complex questions about the research subject, so that qualitative research can be implemented into question. The data analysis model in this study uses the NVivo 12 plus software, Nvivo 12 plus can translate social media data using the Ncapture feature. Sources of data in the study are the Jakarta BRT Twitter account and BRT Semarang. This study uses a Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) model to compare data that has been obtained from Twitter accounts in Jakarta and Semarang transportation, using Twitter account data sources, this study aims to find out how the service model is in public transportation using Twitter. The results of this study answer that the function of social media Twitter on public transportation in BRT Semarang and Jakarta has several differences, the difference is based on Information Integration Services, Interaction Information and Transparency, and Adaptive and Responsive Information Services. In conclusion, the integration of information about Semarang BRT services and Jakarta BRT works well, but the more dominant function is in Jakarta BRT. Jakarta BRT in providing information on transportation routes is more dominant, this is due to the number of routes, and the Jakarta BRT fleet, Jakarta BRT is a responsive account, responding to questions or mentions given by its users, in addition to the high level of activity making the Jakarta BRT account more active. Also, the form of information conveyed by BRT Semarang has characteristics because it shows more regional character (Central Java).
