EFEKTIVITAS MODEL KOMUNITAS SEBAGAI MITRA DALAM PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH DAN PENINGKATKAN KEPATUHAN PENGOBATAN LANSIA
Abstract
Background: The community as partner model is used as guidance of nursing process in assessment, data analysis and diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The community implementation consists of three levels of prevention: primary, secondary, and tertiary. The community implementation consists of three levels of prevention: primary, secondary, and tertiary. The community as partner model can not only resolve issues that exist in the current community, but also be able to troubleshoot the upcoming issues through the preventive and promotion efforts found in three level prevention.
Objectives: Analyzing the effectiveness of the community as partner model in decreasing blood pressure and improving medication compliance of elderly.
Method: The study uses the Quasi experimental method with the design nonrandomized control group Pretest-posttest design.
Results: The implementation Model Community As Partner effective reduce blood pressure and improve medication compliance of elderly with P-value = 0.000.
Conclusion: The community as partner model can be applied in the decrease blood pressure and improve medication compliance of elderly in the working area of Labuhan Badas Primary Health Centre, Sumbawa Besar, NTB.
