The main duty of Police in Indonesia is to provide security and protection to all people in Indonesia. Physical strength becomes the primary requirement for a police officer. The researchers feel the need to study the uniqueness of phenomena in Kulonprogo. Here, the police are not only prepared with the physical strength but also spiritual strength, which framed in Islamic Spiritual Education Program. The purpose of this research is to know the performance, to review the implementation of Islamic Religious Education, and to find the right Islamic religious education model for the performance enhancement of the Police member in Kulonprogo Regional Police Station. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The technique to collect data used observation, interview, and documentation technique. The collected data had analyzed using a holistic analysis model. The subject of this research was all the Police Members in Kulonprogo Regional Police Station. The researcher had done a deep interview with the Mid Rank Officer, Low Rank Officer, High Non-Commissioned Officer, and Police Brigadier in Kulonprogo Regional Police Station. The information gained from the interview, subsequently, had reduced and checked the originality, and also had interpreted to answer the research problem. The result shows that Islamic Religious Education in Kulonprogo Regional Police Station has done through the implementation of consultation, discussion, and religious preaching. The Islamic Religious Education model has combined between the Police curriculum and the curriculum that has Islamic value, with the curriculum supporting program to form performance character. The supporting curriculum is reciting Al-Qur’an, reciting Hadith after Dhuhur Prayer, praying together in Dhuhur and Ashar prayer time, reciting tahlilan, praying Isya and Subuh prayer in different mosque every day, commemorating Islamic days, carrying out mental guiding to the Police Members every morning parade, upgrading BP4 for Police member who will marry, doing counseling service to Police member who has a problem, Kamtibmas Silaturahmi, and distributing Zakat Fitrah. The purpose of this religious education is to reach a flexible character, which is Lillahitta‟ala, Utama, Wasis, Entengan, Syukur.
