The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of lemon and rose aromatherapy to reduce the blood pressure of preeclampsia women. This study design was quasy-experiment without control group. The research conducted in April until June 2020 in Adi Husada Kapasari Hospital. The samples in this study were partially pregnant mothers with preeclampsia who had no allergies to the smell of roses and lemons, which chosen by consequtive sampling. The sample was given aromatherapy, and then their blood pressure was measured. Data analysis was used paired T-test and independent T-test. The results showed that lemon and rose aromatherapy were effective in reducing blood pressure (p-value=0.000; α=0.05). There was no difference between lemon aromatherapy and rose aromatherapy effectiveness in reducing blood pressure in pregnant women with preeclampsia for systolic blood pressure (p-value=1,000; α = 0.05) and diastolic blood pressure (p-value=0,541; α = 0.05). Each aromatherapy has equally effective ingredient for decreasing blood pressure. Lemon aromatherapy and rose aromatherapy can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy for pregnant women with preeclampsia.
