HOT PLATE MAGNETIC STIRRER DENGAN PENGENDALI BERBASIS MICROCONTROLLER ATMega16
Abstract
Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrer is a laboratory tool that is used to heat and stir the
solution with another solution which aims to create a homogeneous solution with
the aid of magnetic stirring rod (stir bar). This tool uses ATmega16 microcontroller
as a control / control of each work process tools. Within this tool microcontroller
controlling the temperature, timer and motor speed settings of the devices are set
via a button. For the temperature sensor used on the appliance is LM35 sensor
which can detect the temperature of -55 to +150 degrees Celsius. Heater that used
is the air heater with a power of 250 Watt.
The working principle of this tool using the relationship between the two magnets
are magnets which are connected to the motors and magnets (stir bar) is entered
in a glass container containing a chemical solution. Stir bar will not react with
any solution because the stir bar is wrapped with a special material, such as
Teflon.
