      Abstract
      This study aims to (1) describe visual impairment diversity in Yaketunis foundation Yogyakarta, (2) describe factors that support and hinder visual impairment diversity in Yaketunis foundation Yogyakarta. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative research method. The research setting was Yaketunis foundation Yogyakarta. The research subjects were the foundation’s caregivers, dormitory administrators, and visual impaired people. The data gathering technique was in depth interview, observation and documentation. The result of the study shows that: (1) the visual impaired people have diversity value on five dimensions of (a) ideology dimension (b) intellectual dimension (c) experiential dimension (d) intellectual dimension (e) consequential dimension. Their diversity activities are supported by the activities in school and dormitory such as reciting Al-Quran, reciting short letters of A-Quran, praying five times a day together, shola dhuha, kultum (short speech) practice, and speech (khutba). 2)The obstacle that often happen in diversity activities of visual impaired people are from themselves, in which they lack of self-motivation (lazy). The facilities provided by the foundation are qualified to help them do every activity, the foundation neighborhood also gives them a chance to join religious activities.
