| dc.description | Perilaku merokok merupakan salah satu bahaya yang mengancam anak, remaja dan wanita Indonesia. Indonesia menempati urutan kelima dengan tingkat konsumsi rokok tertinggi didunia. Keinginan seseorang berhenti merokok timbul disebabkan pengetahuan seseorang terhadap bahaya rokok yang disertai dengan keinginan dan motivasi yang kuat untuk melaksanakannya. Seiring perkembangan zaman, media elektronik sangat memungkinkan sebagai media dalam memberikan motivasi, salah satunya yaitu dengan menggunakan video.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media audio visual terhadap motivasi berhenti merokok pada mahasiswa teknik mesin universitas muhammadiyah yogyakarta angkatan 2015.
Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy Eksperimental pretest-posttest dengan control group design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 107 populasi, dari 107 populasi tersebut diambil 25% atau 26 responden sebagai sampel penelitian. 26 sebagai kelompok intervensi dan 26 sebagai kelompok kontrol.
Hasil Penelitian: Hasil analisis uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai p value= 0,001 (p<0,05) dengan rerata motivasi tertinggi pada pengukuran motivasi post-test setelah diberikan media audio visual, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diperoleh nilai p=0,007 dengan rerata paling tinggi pada pengukuran motivasi post-test setelah diberikan leaflet.
Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian pendidikan kesehatan dengan media audio visual terhadap motivasi berhenti merokok pada mahasiswa teknik mesin Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta angkatan 2015 dengan tingkat motivasi lebih tinggi. | dc.description.abstract | the Smoking Behaviour is one of the dangers that threaten children, adolescents and women of Indonesia. Indonesia ranks fifth highest cigarette consumption level in the world. A person's desire to stop smoking arising due to a person's knowledge against the dangers of smoking are accompanied by a strong desire and motivation to carry it out. Over time, the electronic media it's possible as the media in providing the motivation, one of which is by using video.
Purpose: the purpose of this research is to know the influence of health education with audiovisual media against motivation to stop smoking in students of mechanical engineering University of muhammadiyah yogyakarta force 2015.
Research methods: this research is a research Experimental pretest-posttest Quasy with control group design. The sampling technique used is a probability sampling method with simple random sampling.
