Framing Pemberitaan Sanksi FIFA terhadap PSSI (Periode 31 Mei 2015 pada SKH Kompas, SKH Republika, SKH Jawa Pos, SKH SINDO, SKH Media Indonesia dan SKH Tempo)
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know how Kompas, Republika, Jawa Pos, SINDO, Media Indonesia and Tempo newspaper framing about FIFA sanctions against the PSSI. This research uses qualitative research with framing analysis method and constructivism paradigm. The object of this research is news of Kompas, Republika, Jawa Pos, SINDO, Media Indonesia and Tempo period 31 May 2015 which has hit the headlines in each media. Next, this research uses Framing analysis with Pan and Kosicki model. Based on analysis that has been done, Based on the analysis that has been done can be seen that the sixth media have their own way in framing the FIFA sanctions against Indonesia and its influencing factors, Jawa Pos, Kompas and Media Indonesia Newspapers respond to such sanctions as a moment of national football repairs, Sindo newspaper, focused on PSSI trying to avoid FIFA sanctions, Tempo tried to accommodate both sides, and Republika want any improvement Indonesian football but they were written vaguely.
The following factors that influence differences in frames per media: (1) Media Indonesia close to the government's political elite, as Surya Paloh is chairman Nasdem whose party is in the coalition government. (2) Kompas newspaper known to be close to Jokowi since the Presidential elections in 2014 that support his vision to reform the bureaucracy (3) Jawa Pos have an interest in this issue because it bases its readers the majority of the citizens of East Java, whose club Persebaya and Arema Malang in trouble with the PSSI. (4) Republika newspaper that became the voice of this Muslim community, did not consider that this issue is important so that the news about FIFA sanction impressed potluck. (5) Sindo newspapers owned by Hary Tanoe opposition newspapers have become the government, so that his message would prefer to focus on the PSSI of the government. (6) Tempo tried to accommodate both sides, as a newspaper showing a straightforward ideology without compromise.
