UPAYA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PENANAMAN KARAKTER KEJUJURAN PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP NEGERI 11 YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to determine how the undertakings of Islamic religious education teachers in planting characters honesty learners. So this research will diuangkap is any attempt Isalm and religious education teacher, what are the supporting factors and obstacles in pursuing planting honesty characters on the learner. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta.
This study uses descriptive qualitative approach by conducting interviews with parties associated with this research principals, Islamic religious education teachers and four students of class VII and VIII. Data collection techniques researchers use several techniques, namely; observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data in this research is the analysis of qualitative data.
The results of this study are: the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers who do as teachers and educators to instill character of honesty, as the learning process of students in the training of his personality become personal good in improving achievement based on faith and devotion as well as science and technology is beneficial. With the informant said that character education is very important for students to behave against himself and other people, because of the material that contains the values of honesty that was the template for learners to behave appropriate what is taught. By using methods that can be understood by students, so they can be quickly learned and done right.
