      Abstract
      Nowadays diplomacy is not only about hard diplomacy but also effort of relationship with other country using soft diplomacy effort, soft diplomacy itself is a strategy or a method used by a country to realize or achieve its national interest either by using social or cultural approach. One form of implementation of soft diplomacy is gastrodipomasi, gastrodiplomasi is one way or action that is done in utilizing and culinary processing in the country. One of the countries that apply gastrodiplomasi is Thailand it is done as an effort in fulfilling the national interest, one way to establish cooperation with the Islamic state. This study explains how the Thai government's efforts in intensifying the halal industry in Islamic countries. In this study the authors use descriptive qualitative methods and also use literature literature study books, magazines, journals, internet, newspapers and other relevant sources. To analyze, the author uses the theory of soft diplomacy and multy track diplomacy. The results of this study indicate that the Thai government uses halal food as the country's soft power to boost state branding and reach the national interest of Thailand.
