| dc.description | This research aims to: 1) find out the students’ emotional intellegence, 2) find out the students’ bullying attitude, 3) find out the correlation between the emotional intellegence with the bullying attitude of the students Grade 5 SDN Nogotirto Sleman Yogyakarta.
The research type used is correlational descriptive attitude with quantitative approach. The population in this research is all students of the Grade 5 SDN Nogotirto which are 51 students. The data is collected using the likert scale. The data nalysis technique uses correlation (Pearson).
The research result shows that the students’ emotional intellegence is in the medium category. There are 32 students (62.8%) with the average score is 47.94 in the score interval of 43-50 (medium). Mean while the bullying attitude on the medium category is 28 students (54.9%) with the average score of 27.27 which is in the score interval 0f 25-34 (medium). The correlation test result gained is in the score of p(0.006) and the score result is r(-0.377) which has negative correlation (contradictory). There is a negative and significant relation between the emotional intellegence and the bullying attitude on the the students Grade 5 SDN Nogotirto Sleman Yogyakarta. Therefore, the higher the emotional intellegence, the lower the bullying attitude of the students is. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kecerdasan emosional siswa (2) mengetahui sikap bullying siswa (3) mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap bullying siswa kelas V SDN Nogotirto Sleman Yogyakarta.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Nogotirto yang berjumlah 51 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi (Pearson).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional siswa adalah pada kategori sedang, sebanyak 32 siswa (62,8%) dengan rata-rata 47,94 yang berada dalam interval skor 43-50 (sedang). Sedangkan sikap bullying pada kategori sedang sebanyak 28 siswa (54,9%) dengan rata-rata 27,27 yang berada dalam interval skor 25-34 (sedang). Hasil uji korelasi yang didapatkan pada nilai p(0.006) dan hasil nilai r(-0.377) yang arah korelasinya negatif (berlawanan). Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap bullying siswa kelas V SDN Nogotirto Sleman Yogyakarta. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional maka semakin rendah sikap bullying siswa. | en_US |
