dc.description | The aim of this research is to find out the problems that are faced by students in learning vocabulary at ELED of UMY and strategies to solve the problems in learning vocabulary at ELED of UMY. To achieve the aim of the research, this research used qualitative as the design of the research. To gather the data of the research was used interview guideline. The participants of this study were five students at ELED of UMY batch 2013. The findings of this research showed that the students had problem in learning vocabulary. The problems include difficulties in finding the correct English word, mispronunciation, Low language ability, and inability to memorize the word. The researcher also found the strategies that are used by students to solve their problem in learning vocabulary. They are using as various references, memorizing, taking note, using English song, and regular practice. | en_US |
