HUBUNGAN KEHADIRAN KELUARGA DALAM MENGURANGI TINGKAT KECEMASAN PASIEN PRA-OPERASI DI RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH GAMPING YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Background: Family is the smallest unit from the citizen that have head of the family and some people who lived in one house and need each other. Operative is one of the therapy that can make harm to the body, integrity, and soul. The patient who will operating usually have anxiety. Family is the main support that give direct care to every condition. With high support from the family patient will feel more calm and comfort during therapy Purpose: To know the relation between family support and anxiety rate to patient who will take operation Methods: This research is a descriptive analytic design with cross-sectional approach and present with table and graphic. Sample from this research is patient who will go through operative in PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospital which taken by consecutive sampling as much as 69 patient. Anxiety rate measured by HARS that has been valid and reliable (0.93 and 0.97). And then the analytic with spearman correlation test.
Results and Discussion: From this research, the significance value or the p-value is 0.1 or p >0.05 which means that both variables don’t have a significant relation. And spearman correlation is 0.2 which mean the relation is weak.
Conclusion: There is no relation between family support with anxiety rate from operative patient. And the relation strength is weak.
