STUDI DESKRIPTIF TERHADAP STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA BERBASIS SYARIAH DI BANK PERKREDITAN RAKYAT SYARIAH BAROKAH DANA SEJAHTERAH (BPRS BDS) YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to find out and describe the strategies of sharia-based human resource development and to know the factors influencing the sharia-based human resource development strategies in Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Syariah Barokah dan Sejahtera (BPRS BDS) Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research type with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation.
The result of the research shows that sharia human resources in BPRS must have moral and morality that imitate the character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), namely siddiq (truthful), amanah (trustworthy), fathanah (clever), and tabligh (deliver). The strategies of developing sharia-based human resources in BPRS BDS begins from orientation, training, and career development which are carried out by four methods, namely Tilawah, Taklim, Tazkiyyah, and Hikmah, which are manifested in several activities and programs. Tilawah method is done by recitations of the Qur’an every day before the work. Taklim method is done by conducting weekly and monthly Qur’an recitation, dawn prayer in congregation, prayer in congregation, discussion and giving of short preaching. Tazkiyyah method is done by conducting ESQ training, sharia banking training, and setting dress code. While Hikmah method is conducted by holding monthly, every semester, and annual evaluation meetings. In addition, at the recruitment and orientation stage, BPRS BDS conducts surveys to the employee environment to be accepted to monitor their association and behavior. Career development is the thing for all employees. Indicators of Islamic values used in career development in BPRS BDS, one of them, is related to A1-Qur’an recitation. It becomes one of the conditions other than performance and other criteria.
Factors influencing the implementation of sharia-based human resources development strategies in BPRS BDS are the vision and mission of the bank, commitment to create moral human resources, and working principles like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
