The National Health Insurance (JKN) is part if mandatory SJSN administered through mechanisms of social health insurance. JKN service in Indonesia is divided into three services structure: primary, secondary and tertiary health care. The dentist as the first professional degree who works at the primary health care should understand about JKN. This is an observational research with cross sectional design. The subject dentists are worked at the dental health center of Public health care at the Kulon Progo Regency district. This research total sampling is 20 dentist. This research was conducted from July to August 2016. The Instrument was a questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability (ri = 0.769). The results showed that the knowledge level of the dentists in Public health care about the obligation aspect in JKN Era is good category (95%), the dental service aspect is good category (50%), and the financing aspect is good category (75%). The conclusion of this research is the knowledge level of dentists about obligation, service and financing in the JKN at the Public health care of the Kulon Progo district included in good category.
