Abstract
The strategy of the promotion of Tourism Office of Gunungkidul Regency Yogyakarta in increasing the interest of tourists visit on a Tourist Beach Nglambor the year 2015 – 2017 Thesis Year: 2018 + 195 pages + 12 tables + 15 page of pictures + 4 attachment References: 34 books + 4 online resource + 4 journals
Nglambor beach is one of the tourist places that already established by the Tourism Office of Gunungkidul Regency as tourist attractions in Gunungkidul Regency whose goal is to introduce to the public as well as tourists. Nglambor Beach Tourism has the potential to more attractive compared to other coastal attractions. This is because due to the Nglambor Coast nature has the potential to attract and qualify for a tourist.
Based on the research results, can be known promotion strategies used Tourism Office of Gunungkidul Regency is using a strategy situation analysis with the stage of planning, pelaksanaa, and evaluation. These strategies are used extensively for tourism destinations in Gunungkidul Regency. Promotions that are used through promotion mix such as; advertising, personal selling, publicity, and sales promotion. His is done through evaluation of strategic and annual plan eavaluasi through assessment against promotional programs by conducting an analysis of the media promotion.
The conclusion of this research is to continue to improve the good aspects are already running while doing repairs on the aspects that are still experiencing weakness, then it's possible Tourism Office of Gunungkidul Regency in introducing the Nglambor Beach Tourism object in achieving the goals and objectives that will come.
