      Abstract
      The existence of a new media that contains a product review content by beauty blogger forms a new habit when doing online shopping activities, as a channel in search of information about the product that want to buy online. The purchase of cosmetic products online, especially lipstick, certainly through the process of consideration by consumers to get the right choice of lipstick products according to their needs and desires. The beauty blogger takes some parts in the determination of lipstick purchases with their content of lipstick reviews through online media. Rissa Stellar offers lipstick-specific content reviews through her blog, lippielust.com, which specializes in the content of lipstick-specific reviews in her blog as "Indonesia's Ultimate Source for Swatches and Reviews" in her blog name subtitle. This can be interpreted differently by the readers of her blog. This research is discuss the interpretation of blog readers about lipstick reviews in lippielust.com blog. Using Stuart Hall's reception analysis method, blog readers are seen as an active audience in perceiving media texts from the perspective of reader backgrounds such as educational background, lifestyle background, and media habits. This research reveals that the informants are divided into two propositions form of reading, it is hegemonic-dominant position and negotiated position. No informants are in oppositional position because there is no informant whose ideology is contradictory with Lippielust blog writer.
