PROMOSI EVENT DINAS PERDAGANGAN PEMERINTAH DAERAH KABUPATEN BANTUL DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT PENGUNJUNG PADA BANTUL EKSPO TAHUN 2017
Abstract
In Bantul District, there is one government program called the Bantul Expo event which is held with the intent as a media of publication, promotion, education, recreation and exhibition form of local superior products. In the implementation of this event the Trade Office as event organizer has responsibility in promoting the wrong a Bantul District Government program to attract visitors. In this case, the Trade Service requires an appropriate promotional event to be implemented in attracting visitors. This study was conducted to find out how the promotion of events conducted by the Department of Commerce. The theoretical framework used is the theory of event management, where in the event management there is a planning, event promotion, event implementation, until the evaluation of the event. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, while the data collection technique is done by observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The research was conducted in Complex II of Regional Government Office. Bantul, Manding. From the results of the analysis conducted the researchers found that the form of promotion of events conducted trade service is the promotion of indoor and outdoor, using print media, and electronic, from the final analysis conducted by researchers, found that according to the theory of promotional tools used are appropriate, but the content the visual promotion done by the Trade Service still does not match the theory of promotion content visual.
