PENERAPAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN APLIKASI ANDROID “KANA AUGMENTED REALITY” PADA PEMBELAJARAN HIRAGANA
Abstract
One of the important factors in learning Japanese language is to mastering
hiragana. Basic Japanese language learner especially high school students are
still having trouble in learning hiragana. Based on this problem, researchers want
to help students in learning hiragana by using a learning media called “Kana
Augmented Reality”. The reason researchers choose the media is because “Kana
Augmented Reality” could suitable for hiragana learning in this era or called by
digital learning.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of media “Kana Augmented
Reality” for improving the study evaluation Japanese language learning in SMKN
1 Depok Sleman. The method used on this research is experimental research,
where the data is obtained by giving test in the form of pretest and posttest which
has been implemented in control class and experimental class. Also, to determine
the review of learning hiragana with using the media “Kana Augmented Reality”
questionnaire is also given to the respondents.
The alternative hypothesis was used in this research that Ha be accepted
and Ho was rejected if tcount > ttable and normalized gain1 > normalized gain2 are
proved. The acquired tcount is 29.494, which is larger than the ttable 2.056. The gain
result obtained from the experiment class is 0.84, which is larger than 0.49 of the
gain results obtained from the control class. Which means using the media “Kana
Augmented Reality” are effective to improve the study evaluation of learning
hiragana. In addition, students’ responses of using the media “Kana Augmented
Reality” is excellent, which this learning media is actually proven to improving the
study evaluation of learning hiragana.
