PEMANFAATAN MEDIA ONLINE OLEH MASJID JOGOKARIYAN YOGYAKARTA DALAM MEMBANGUN KOMUNIKASI DENGAN AKTIVIS DAKWAH TAHUN 2017
Abstract
This study analyzes the utilization of online media conducted by Jogokariyan Mosque of Yogyakarta in building and fostering communication with da'wah activists in 2017. This study aims to describe and analyze how far the utilization of online media is carried out by the Jogokariyan Mosque in building communication with existing da'wah activists by reviewing several supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques through interview methods to the parties involved as well as several document sources tested for validity with data triangulation techniques. Based on this study, the result shows that the utilization of online media by Jogokariyan Mosque of Yogyakarta has been based on the objectives, vision, and mission, but this does not last long because, in its application, the Jogokariyan Mosque chooses to use a more flexible planning model. The management of content to maximize the function of online media in 2017 has also been implemented and focused on Facebook and Instagram media as they see and consider the current conditions and effectiveness of this two media platform functions. Moreover, supervision and evaluation of the utilization of online media at the Jogokariyan Mosque have also run quite well, although there are still a number of controls and evaluations that have not generally run on several platforms due to limited facilities from the intended platform.
