HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRESS DENGAN TINGKAT NYERI DISMENORE PADA MAHASISWI DI PONDOK PESANTREN AL - MUNAWWIR KOMPLEK R2
Abstract
Background: One of the most common disorders when women menstruate is dysmenorrhea. The negative impact of dysmenorrhea on female students causes a person to become weak and helpless, pale, lack of concentration, so that it negatively impacts daily activities and even becomes one of the most common reasons women don't do activities. There are many factors that can affect dysmenorrhea, namely age, duration of menstruation, stress, physical activity and body mass index. One factor that plays a role with dysmenorrhea in female students is stress.
Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between stress levels and dysmenorrhea pain levels.
Methodology: This study is a correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 13I female students. The test used is Pearson Correlation. This study used 2 questionnaires, namely the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI) questionnaire.
Results: This study shows that there is a relationship between the level of stress and the level of pain dysmenorrhea in female students of Al Munawwir Islamic Boarding School R2 Krapyak Complex, with p-value 0.000 and correlation 0.335 so the correlation strength is weak.
