JARINGAN MANAJEMEN RANTAI PASOKAN PADA INDUSTRI KULIT DI YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to describe the design of supply chain networks, describing the role of stakeholders, identify problems faced by each stakeholders and solution to solve the problem. The subjects of this research are supplier, leather tanning companies, finished product makers, and consumers. The sampling technique in this research by purposive sampling technique with knowing criteria about leather industry supply chain by interviewing 10 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study uses content analysis and fishbone analysis.
The result of this study indicate that the supply chain network in the leather industry in Yogyakarta starts from slaughterhouses that sell animal raw leather to sub-suppliers, sub-supplier sells the animal raw leather to suppliers. The supplier sells the raw animal skin to the leather tanning company. The tanning company processes the leather and distributes the leather to the makers of finished products. Finished product makers sell their products to consumers. The role of stakeholders in the leather industry supply chain is how to pay attention to the sustainability of the production process of raw leather to become leather that is ready to be marketed in accordance with the criteria and quality standards. In this study also obtained identification of problems and solutions faced by each stakeholder.
