Pressure ulceroccurs because of long pressure, friction, skin irritation and immobilisation. One of the ways to reduce the possibility of pressure ulcer is giving 30 degrees titled setting position by using absorbent triangle pillow and anti-decubitus matters. By laying the patient on the anti-decubitus mattress and setting the patient’s position into 30 degree position on absorbent triangle pillow, it can help him/her to get oxygen supply as skin nutrition and moisture to reduce the risk of pressure sores. The research was aimed at knowing the 30 degrees titled setting position by using absorbent triangle pillow in pressure ulcer case. Quasi experimental design with one group post-test only design was applied in the research. The research was done at RSUD Nganjuk’s wards and referred to 20 pressure ulcer cases and consecutive sampling technique. The data was analysed by using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney statistic test. The significance was <0.05. The research showed illustration of 30 degrees tilted setting position by using absorbent triangle pillow and anti-decubitus matters treatment. It also provided evidence that there risk of pressure ulcer was reduced on the fifth day of the treatment. There was also different pressure ulcer case after the treatment was done seeing from the sig. 0.008, mean 1.50 and standard deviation 0.535. It was also noted that the 30 degrees tilted setting position by using absorbent triangle pillow and anti-decubitus matters had significant influence on pressure ulcer.
