This research aims to describe Civic Engagement: youth voluntarism in the 2019 political constellation. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive that focuses on finding truth/facts in the field through interviews and documentation. The theory used in this research is Civic Engagement theory supported by an integrated theory of volunteerism and political participation The research found that the form of youth engagement becoming a GMI DIY volunteer was more directed to the Electoral Indicator, but the implementation still lacking in terms of engagement in activities planned by GMI DIY. The data obtained as evidence that there are two types of volunteers who are in GMI DIY. The first is true-voluntarily and the second has its interests. Related to the factors that encourage youth is diverse. The factors might from the existence of a stimulant, a person's characteristics, social characteristics of a person and the situation or political environment contribute to the political participation of this young generation. The research might conclude that the youth engagement who choose to become volunteers of GMI DIY is more directed at the electoral indicator that should be supported by engagement in each activity on the agenda and on the other side their great concern for the problem social, political economy and others in society encourage them to be involved. Thus, the research suggests for millennial movement of the Special Region of Yogyakarta not to become an inactive movement and focus only on the pre-2019 election but as active movement after the election in guarding the next government by instilling voluntary values based on the premise that voluntary work are those who have productive activities, involve joint action, and remain ethically guided. On the other hand, it is expected there is further research with different perspectives on the engagement of youth volunteerism in the Indonesia political constellation aimed to be able to find out the reason youth engagement chooses to become volunteers in the political constellation of Indonesia.
