PENERAPAN LEAN MANAGEMENT DALAM IMPLEMENTASI AKREDITASI RUMAH SAKIT DI RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
The principle of lean management is to eliminate waste and how
to change flexible procedures for effective improvement to
achieve standards by involving employees. Hospital
Accreditation is an acknowledgment given by the government to
hospital management, because it has met the standards set.
Efforts are needed to achieve these standards, so that the
implementation is easy and fun. It needs to keep its continuity so
that it becomes a work culture. The purpose of study was to
analyze the use of lean management in the implementation of
hospital accreditation standards. Method of this research is a
qualitative study. It is a participatory action research design in a
hospital. The results of the study, the use of lean management can
improve the implementation of accreditation in the Management
of Communication and Education standard, specifically on proof
of verification to ensure patients and families can understand the
educational material provided by using visual management, by
putting signs to facilitate the unit to solve problems easily and
eventually become a work culture at Muhammadiyah Hospital in
Yogyakarta
