ANALISIS PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI (TIK) UNTUK BISNIS ONLINE PADA UMKM MENGGUNAKAN UNIFIED THEORY OF ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF TECHNOLOGY (UTAUT)
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the behavioral intention
to use ICT among MSMEs in Yogyakarta. Based on the Unified Theory
of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, this study
examines whether performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social
influence are important antecedents to explain the intention to use ICT
at MSMEs. This study also tested two moderating variables, namely
propensity to act and precipitating event. The sample in this study was
164 MSME owners in Yogyakarta with a purposive sampling technique
and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of
this study indicate that performance expectancy and effort expectancy
significantly influence the intention to use ICT in MSMEs while social
influence has no significant effect. The results also support the theory
that propensity to act has a moderating effect on the relationship
between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence
to behavioral intention. While the effect of precipitating events on the
intention to behavior relationship was not found.
